If your oil pump part # reads #15100-p72-a01, your fine.

Anything beyond that your pushing it with oil starvation. With oil starvation, bearings don't get enough oil hence starts doing all kinds of weird stuff, like "boom" stuff.

The only cams that make power at 9000 RPM are Stage 3 Skunk2 or Toda Ds.

OEM cams or most of the 90% aftermarket cams don't make power beyond 8RPM, also depands on the header too!
