I am concerned enough to drive with a silencer now and NOT DISTURB THE PEACE which is the whole point of the law apparently. If that is the point of the law, then enforce it to everyone, especially those who are way over the top with noise. It will benefit me if they start writing domestics and bikers tickets because they are louder than me to begin with. It's just being fair, dude. That's it. If I'm "disturbing the peace", then they most certainly are as well.
I do disagree with the law. I think it should be measured in decibels. Some stock exhausts are as loud or louder than mine. That's my point. I will try to change this.
I can see where your coming from with that, but I guess I just see it as a hopeless effort because all 4cylinder are profiled because of the cool 16 year olds in their riced out hondas. In the end it will always be the cop deciding who to write their tickets to.
I don't think I'd ever get an exhaust ticket for how it sounds right now, but when I get my car back tonight the compression is going to be 11:1ish with a big cam so I'm not sure if it's going to be too loud or not. If it is, I'll put the tail pipes on and find a way to quiet it down.
