I like this idea a lot, and the different excercises sound good. I think it would also be beneficial if we were able to get ahold of some people who were willing to video record every driver's runs, and either show them on a big tv between heats or make tapes for people to bring home or something (its not all that often for some of us to be able to see ourselves driving).
We could probably also get ahold of some scales to measure curb weight, weight distrobution and cornerweight, camber and toe readers, pyrometers, a cheap tire mounting machine, and maybe a method to measure chassis rigidity to help people set up and learn about their cars.
We would have to see who we could get to come down to help instruct, but if the possibility of this event were to become more of a reality, I'm sure that the teaching lineup would be satisfactory even to the guys who are pretty good.
Keep the ideas coming!
