I picked up 38whp from adding a degree and 1/2 of timing and going from 10.5:1 to 11.2:1 when we tuned my S13 (SR20DET). I don't see why you have to say my actions are pathetic... I have been building cars for 10 years my friend.. I know what I'm talking about, and I have dozens of cars under my belt to prove it. No one stooped to the level on name calling before your last post.. I'd appreciate it if you'd show a little more respect, instead of acting childish.

Sure, JWT is conservative. But if you flipped it around, and had Scott (or anyone else) put out the number of ECU's that JWT does.. you would see the same results. The end result.. is that Scott tunes for a LOT of local people.. which is great. He can make the most power on aspecific setup. Yes, Scott does ship ECU's out.. but not nearly the volume that JWT does. I'm sure if Scott sent out hot, perfectly tuned maps to thousands of people.. you'd see a good percentage of blown up motors down the line. And Scott, I'm NOT knocking you.. I'm just saying that some people would get your ECU, that's tuned to the edge for the most power, and have a problem with setting thier timing, or fuel pressure.. and they'd end up blowing up a motor. That's not to say that your tuning is reckless... It's great.. Perfect realy.. but when you get a comedy of errors, and someone who doesn't know what they're doing.. you could end up with a pile of engine parts.

I hope you understand where I'm coming from.. You know how to tune and make great power.. and I totaly commend that. I'm just saying that it's hard to send out a "mail order" chip to the masses, and not have problems if you tune it to perfection.
