Desperately need car help!!!
For all you Mitsu techs out there i hope you can help me figure this problem out soon.
Here's the situation. It involves a '94 3000gt. The car cranked up and was running just fine 41 days ago. However, it had been sitting since it was towed off the streets for the owner was DUI. All i know is that today i went to start the car for the first time since being towed, and nothing happened. I had put a fully charged battery in place of the old one that went dead before trying to crank up the car. There were no keys with the car so i had a master key made from the dealer. The car did not have a key fob either(don't know if they came with them???) It did however have a siren horn for some kind of alarm...don't know if it was stock or aftermarket. So i don't know if an alarm that was activated and when the battery went dead would cause a problem, of if the alarm system can be reset(hopefully easily).
Anyways, when i went to turn the ignition on absolutely nothing happened. The starter didn't even turn over. All acc. are in perfect operating condition. I can't figure out if this may be something electrical or a switch of some sort. Did the 94's come with immobilizer systems on them from the factory? Other than an immobilizer system interupting the circuit i can't think of what might prevent the car from starting(other than a dead starter).
Any constructive help would be appreciated as i don't want to have this thing towed. BTW....does there happen to be a Mitsu tech at one of the local dealers on the board that could help out?
