sounds like a crossed wire on the back of the gauge cluster. check the plugs and make sure all the pins in the plugs are seperated by the thin plastic walls that are in the plugs. check the pins on the back of the cluster to make sure nothing is bent over. check the circuit board on the back of the cluster to see if somithing is crossing the circuit paths. if none of this pans out let me know, cause then it would be something further down the wires and would need to be multimetered to troubleshoot.
