People always say that mustangs can handle but I aint seen one yet that can (sans race cars). Stock for stock the 240 would hand the fox body it's ass on a handling basis. Hardly anyone, especially around here, builds mustangs for any other reason but drag.
A similar generalization could be said about the 240. Hardly anyone, especially around here, builds 240's for any other reason but drift. I have seen maybe one 240 locally (over in Palm Bay) set up to actually get traction around a corner, and even then the car wasn't a competent autocrosser compared to the couple Mustangs present at the event.
