For one, if you think a turbo timer controls boost....you don't need to have a turbo...A TT lets the car stay on after taking out the keys so the oil circulates through the turbo and cools it down.... also, find one on here in the Import for sale section...search it...You have alot to learn if you think your spending only 1000-1500....there is alot more that comes with buying a turbo "kit"....The engine should be fine running 7psi if you get it tunned properly....

My guess is you don't know much about cars, and can't install it yourself?? If that is not true, the cheapest is just to do it yourself. The manifold/pipes/FMIC/injectors/wastegate/turbo are not that hard to put on if you have the right tools...

I bought mine for 1700, but ended up being about 2g's and I still need it tunned/uberdata/injectors-resistor box(200 bucks)

buy a kit or piece it(piecing is a bitch)1500-2500 bucks, and have someone install it for 500-1000 bucks...have fun hope this helps...
