I agree with both sides, yes, its just a car, but its a car with some history behind it. An SVO is an expensive car to maintain, because many of its parts are SVO specific and not produced new. A much better performing and handling fox can be built cheaper than buying an SVO and either keeping it stock or modding it.
This is why I didn't want an SVO, because I knew it wasn't going to be stock, and that parts are expensive. Yes, you can put standard fox parts on instead of the SVO parts, but then you have a very expensive mustang.
Ultimitely its his car, but when he tries to sell it for $10k "because its an SVO" but its got a 302 and glasspacks, reality will soon smack him in the face.
