I've been running open o2 housing (loud) for a few months now with no exhaust at all with no problems. I've floored it past cops without realizing it, shit a brick, then realized that they just don't care as they fly past in the next lane at 15 over. It's a very mean sound, open o2 with the wastegate open, so unlike the tinny sohc d-series exhaust note it's not so much irritating and high pitched as it is ungodly loud and painful.
Oh, the Skittle looks 143% better without the wing. Of the changes you've made that's the one I like the best- especially in the rear-view photo, the car looks nice. It's a shame that it's so rare for someone to see that view.
