k so y did you purchase a car that is slow???? secondly dubs arent the fast cars on the road nor will they probably ever be BUT there are some nice mods for them so here is a link to whats the best on the market for a 1.8t

also if you arent looking for that right now then you may wanna looking into getting it chipped and a decent exhaust to allow the turbo to breath there are many chips are available for the 1.8t so i would do some research to see what fits you best
also i would take it back and get my boys APR stg. GTI its a 03 and he is looking for around 19k for it
