Programming the chip is the easy part. The 29c256 is a good choice, no annoying erase cycle like the 27sf512 I'm using right now, I'm probably going to pick up a few 29c256 chips before too long. I have one of the basic willem burners from ebay, the ones going for 45 buy-it-now out of British Columbia, and it's a good unit for the price, it does its job. Now that all of that is out of the way, the only thing you need to know is what to do about this:
