I'm not sure if there is a major difference but on my galant I had a FP evoIII ported exhaust manifold.

From what I have seen people are pretty much doing the same thing with a ported 2g as people with a ported evoIII with similar setups. I got the evoIII because it came as a whole setup when I bought a fp green off of a car. If I was going budget I'd probably just do a ported 2g. Probably not worth the money for the extra little bang you would get out of an evoIII. But I have no experience with ported 2g mani's at all so most of my reasons/arguements are one sided.
