See, the only problem with mine is I think the bearings are shot and that's where all the whinning is coming from (still shifts smooth), but I don't want to have to take my car somewhere, pull out the tranny, have it rebuilt and put it back in .. that's a lot of downtime.
The tranny that Donnie has had the 3rd gear blown out, so I'm assuming 4th and 5th are ok so if I got that 1-3 gearset I'd be good to go.
I really havn't had time to call any transmission shops to get pricing and all so I don't even know what kind of money I'm looking at. Any reccomendation on where I'm gonna go or guesses on how much this is going to cost me?
How much are you looking to get for that tranny?
Talk to scott about his tranny guy. Id honestly say a basic rebuild with all the small parts will be between 350-450
