Plenty of people I know, with the same car as me, have gotten quality (materials, mandrel bends) custom made catbacks for under $300. Guess just not from Rainbow Muffler. 
Ok "buddy". I priced Mustang cat-backs as a reference. I am sure the same applies for Stealth/3000GT exhaust when you compare the average price of an aftermarket catback with a "custom" backyard job.
Please let us know who can fabricate a custom exhaust using a mandrel bender locally for $300.
