Why is that? In the DSM world, they're definitely the low-budget aftermarket rod, but the highest hp known to have been put out on a set of eagles is 920 whp. The Crowers, Pauters, etc are much better pieces, but how does that help when the cheapest (and lightest) rods on the market are good for more power than 99.9999% of the population will put out? Lots of Ross piston/Eagle rod 4g63's out there, it's the most common combo when shooting for more than the 450-500 whp the stock internals can reliably hold.
