I mean really, are you going to have every customer sign a NDA? And every mechanic who works on a customer's transmission? What about everybody who buys a used car with a zeroshift in it? NDA's for them too?

You can't sell a secret and keep it a secret. There's no way you'll be able to market to true performance enthusiasts without telling them how it physically works. You might be able to get the ricer crowd to jump on the bandwagon if the actual shifting process sounds 'cool'.
