You would not see that in the US, they would have followed him for hours to make an episode for COPS and then they would have barely tipped the rear of the bike so the guy doesnt get hurt. LAME.
They should use that as a training video for officers here. It would save gas, effort, time and endangering civilians for long periopds of time. It would also make examples out of criminals, one at a time. Who knows, if the guy gets killed, it would also save tax payers money, reduce size of jails and maybe they would dedicate all that extra money to schools and stem cell research...
