You've gotta be full or empty on the gas tank Mars. The internal baffles just don't cut it on an autox course. If you've got anything in between, it'll slosh and you'll suffer from tank slap.
i don't agree with the above statement. i regularly autox with about a half tank & have no problem with tank slap, that only happens if you're not smooth
