Agreed. Thats a sorry time. You couldnt possible detune a motor setup like that
that much. The girl who owns that car also recently totaled it.
For the record tonight I detuned a customers car on my dyno. It was a supercharged LS running 8psi with over 100psi of fuel pressure and 19 degrees of ignition advance on a stock ECU. Kids for those that arent informed thats not a great street setup. The amount of fuel pressure will kill the pump hes running sooner or later if the sheer pressure doesnt force the stock injectors closed causing a lean condition and subsequent meltdown. The ignition advance may be fine now while its nice and cool (and make more power) but come summer time hell be finding a new block real quick. He left the shop today 5hp lower than what he came in with but a far more reliable car in the long run.
