Nope it won't. Your injectors will only allow a certain amount of fuel by due to pulsewidth and pressure. The volume of the pump will not affect that and the pump does not flow so much that it will heat the fuel so there are no worries.
Also think about vehicles such as the ZO6 and 03-04 Cobras as they have a bigger fuel pump from the factory without driveability issues.
I personally put about 40,000 miles on my 87 LX with a 255 without any issues whatsoever.
