We must keep one thing in mind. F1 is about the ultimate persuit of speed on road courses. All of the advancements over the last ten years have all been about speed and safety. Hell, many of this years chassis' are over 1 - 2 seconds faster than last years times. That is mostly attributed to the tire war, and advancements in Aero. F1 still challenges drivers to the fullest extent, but I feel Champ car is a much better test of driver talent and ability. Not the present Champ cars, but the cars of the mid 90's to 1999. No one can dispute the skill required to run road courses, street courses, short ovals and superspeedways. Champ car is the ultimate test of driver skill. I cannot wait for champ car to return to the 900 - 1000 horsepower days.
