My friend has a stock 03 Civic EX and he has a problem warping brake rotors. I won't lie, he doesn't baby the car, but with brand new rotors, they stayed straight a week before they had a slight warp. I also won't lie, he's pretty picky, so they aren't that bad.

He's thinking of drilling a set of rotors to help dissapate heat, but I'm wondering if that may make the problem worse by removing material and thus strength.

Is this a known issue with the Civics? What can be done to correct it?
