youll notice a slight difference. Just make sure you stay obd1 when you do it. Meaning use the obd1 distributor youll have to open up the notch on one of hte dist legs or you can just bolt up 2 of the 3 dist legs. Use the y8 head gasket and youll end up with 9.6:1 CR with that head adn block. Youll have a better cam use your obd1 injectors. Use the y8 intake manifold and fuel rail. Being that youre remaining obd 1 youll probably pick up about 6-10hp depending on condition of your block and the new head. As far as weather or not its worth it? It all boils down to how good of a deal you find on the head. Also make sure you replace the head bolts or else youll be pulling the head to replace the head gasket shortly thereafter. If you have any other questions let me know.
