sorry to hear of your loss and your misfortunes jeremy. hopefully the rest of the week will be an uphill climb (as in getting better, not a struggle uphill). dont feel heartless for not crying or anything, you might not have outward physical emotion (i.e. crying, sorrow), but obviously you're taking it as a loss and a time to mourn some. [other than my parents and brother, i doubt i'd feel too horrible about a family member dying --- im just not emotional like that nor am i close with extended family]

street racing sucks. obviously you learned your lesson, as did i when i was 18 (and back then it was $80 and 3 points which are all gone now). hopefully you get the good end of the stick and can revel in your 25 year old price drop soon.


as far as girls...well being a dick might actually get you farther than being a nice guy. we've all talked about it before, but somehow, it works sometimes. its the most backwards thing that exists too.

also, i found that girls wont pull that 'lets be friends' BS if you present yourself as looking for a relationship. not just saying that, but keeping time together limited to semi-romantic dates and things that hopefully give her subtle hints about your motives. if not, sexual advances work too but those might land you in jail or you might get the hand to the face or some mace.
