The only wanna-bes, and non racing spectators were the Rice that Infested our spot.
I am the Cobra owner that ran Greg in the Hatch.
I did not get more traction then him. I simply let out of my shifts, let the tires catch up to the ground, and proceeded to mash on it. I was letting out at 5800-6000 each shift, to ensure traction. I spin on the DR's even in the dry. It was not "wet," at the spot, however it was not completely "dry" either. Even in doing so, I put about 5 Cornfields on the Hatch. Granted, he wasn't spraying, but even a buck fitty shot wouldn't have helped him.
I do not have DR's all the way around. I have Nitto NT555's. DR's out back. What good would DR's be on the front of a RWD Cobra?
The Red Saleen, from my understandings, happens to belong to the same person who owns that RX-7 that "is the fastest car in Tampa." Which is why he has to do burnouts in the intersection to get attention in it, because he has no chance of winning Races in it. Well, unless he hangs out with the group of Civic's that were there, then maybe he can win a Race or Three.
