You need to figure out what is involved in "converting".

When you go from obd2b to obd1 all you need is a conversion harness that converts your pin locations on your incar ecu plugs to obd1 specs hence you will be able to run a obd1 ecu.

You can leave your engine harness the same i.e. retaining obd2 injectors, alternator & dizzy; yet still running an obd1 computer
