Side note. He said he already had 4th gear engaged when this happened, make it all the more 
the rear end is fine, we checked the gears and all. he thinks his hand is fine but his gf thinks its broke. insurance is fixing the windshield. btw we still need a driveshaft so if you got one you want to sell give me a call 352 684 5240
