camry is camry.
i think some of the older ones were badged as crown but i know crown came to be its own model..there is some connection there.

basically the ES300 is like a v6 camry xle with leather sunroof and etc etc with diff front and rear fascias (lights/bumpers/badging) and on paper, a different HP number. theyre probably the same in real life, if anything, toyota had been rumored to havea better stock muffler on the ES (like that would really give them any power difference) and there was also rumors of a slight change in timing/fuel map or at least ignition...but i still think theyre the damn same except on paper.

ps - camry's after 96 (4th and 5th gen) are so weak. my mom has a 2000..its bland. and weak. even modded ones and kitted ones are weak (with exception of 3s swap or trd s/c with 11psi pulley ). even 3rd gen is bland but isnt as hard to make 'non-bland'.
