But tonight I looked in to what I would need to do the swap and I would have to get so much shit, it would be cheaper for me to just rebuild my 302 and stroke it to a 331.
My dad had a 71 cougar and it had the 351 Cleveland, not the windsor in it...FWIW.
If you want an 800hp drag only car and want to spend the extra cash - the 351 is better and will hold more power. It really depends on what your goal for the car - and how much you're willing to spend. If you're making your choice on cost, and you want a quick street car, the 331 is prob the better route.
