As long as all the cylinders are somewhat within the same range youre good to go.

As for the rings the compression test would have revealed any ring sealing problems since compression would stall after a few cranks of the engine.

Oh and about Prolong...Id be careful. Recently Duralube and Prolong had to pay fines for false advertising.
