I'm talking about a stock engine. Basically, if someone is giving you a running 305, put it in. Get a carb, intake, pulleys, headers etc. All of that stuff will carry over to a 350, then put a 350 in it if you're not happy.
All I'm saying is a 305 only "junk" if you are spending money building it. If you get one for a screaming deal, its still a V8.
