fast idle thermo valves die all the time. Remove the intake and place your thumb over the hole in the bottom of the TB. If the idle clears up theres your problem
bleh let the car come up to normal operating temp leave it running remove the cover on the FITV (two screws) and place your thumb over the hole. If theres suction youve found the culprit.
