Have you ridden a 04 yet?
I have an 02 R1. The 04 is nothing like it, but you can definatly tell that they're related. It handles very quickly, some would say twitchy if they're not use to it. It has gobs of power everywhere. In it's stock form, it's almost as fast as mine. LOL
