gixxers are traditionally heavy, not weight wise, but hard to flick and stuff into corners. For some reason they require much more force to turn, at least compared to the almost telepathic R1 and R6. Some people like the gixxer because of that others hate it, and i know one person that wadded one by getting of an R6 and getting on a gixxer6(rider error, they handle nothing alike)
