well the je pistons have better thermal tolerances than the itr pistons. But if the motor is n/a and the je pistons were the same comp as the itr then there would be no reason to choose them over the itrs since the compression ratio wouldnt be severe enough to really test the thermal expansion/melting point of the cast itrs.
