get something built specifically for your application if you can...some off the shelf 3200 as said before, can stall anywhere from 2800-3700...how much power the car makes, and the weight of the car play a role in it aswell. i had a 2400 stall, and i loved it for the measily 3 weeks my tranny didnt suck at life. but granted im an LT1, and get most the torque down low anyways.
