Since I have no experience with autos I am not sure if this is normal. Usually my car has a hard time even getting up to proper running temp (190 or so) now it wants to run at 200-205 with the auto.. The temp of the trans is good (165-180) while cruising.

Any clues why this might be ? The things I have thought of include the car is running around at a higher rpm or the auto holds more heat somehow.

Any insight would be appreciated.
