No car will ever be suited for drag racing, auto-x and street driving. drag and auto-x will be mutually exclusive, and whatever way you lean, it will suck on the street.

That being said. I'm sure there is a process for getting a home built car titled because the street rod guys do it. Not sure what that process is, but go see the DMV and they should have info for you.
