I have been street tuning at a couple undisclosed locations, thanks to Blake and his Uberdata skillz, and I gotta say, Im now a firm believer in street tuning.... If you can street tune with a wideband, I believe you can release a little more of your cars potential.... When you tune on a dyno, of course, you are looking for peak horsepower, etc... But on the street, you use the ass dyno, which means you just go for what feels best, and makes your car run the hardest... As long as you have conservative timing (mine is only at like 17 degrees for now) and a good air fuel ratio (were keeping mine right around 12.4:1 for now, which is a little rich) you should have no worries....
Although I do kinda agree that you can get the safest tune on a dyno, and you dont run the risk of getting tickets, or getting arrested...
I would say call Glenn over at Hybrid Performance again, and reserve the Dyno for an hour or two, then talk to Blake and see if you throw him some cash, maybe hed be interested in going to the dyno with you and helping out a bit.....
12.4:1 on a f/i car on pump gas is cutting it close, i dont go much over 11.8:1
