spray a little lubrication in on the bearings of the adjuster pulleys, but keep it off of the belts.

also, if the belts are too tight it can cause squeeling.

A fluctuating idle can be the Idler Air Screw, poor fuel delivery, or O2 sensor malfunction. Also after 2 hours of drifting...your engine will hate you.
