Nothing sucks more than getting a speeding ticket on the way to a driving event! I did that once. Wasn't even in a particular hurry.

But, anyway, I think the Ocala GP is on the South side of Ocala and GIR is definitely on the NE side of Gainesville. It's a good hour between them.

My concern is that we lost money due to lack of entrants when we had an event that was LOCAL to our club. I don't see that situation improving by moving the events to be more distant.
