Rx-7s have there problems too when it came to the engine. As a
matter of fact they had many recalls for that car for every year it was out.

What blueboost was saying is that Nissanbroke the mold when they made the Z and the Skyline which was there intention!

The VG30 is considered one of the best 6cyl to ever be massed produced and this is coming from Car & Driver and has won numerous awards by Jd Power.

Its also the platform Nissan used for all there 6cyl engines now to
include the 350z so WTF!?
