Just make sure you're preregistered. when you show up for on-site registration let them know it's your first event. They'll tell you how to get your car teched and point out a novice instructor for you. They'll be a novice walk through prior to the drivers meeting so all the newer folks will walk the course with an experiance driver who'll point out the basics for you.
