i burned mine as data files and they played fine... i think he just needs to practice up on the burning program...make sure u dont have it set to "Test only" on the program... mine was set liek that and so the cd's wouldnt play
because you have a CD player which is capable of reading actual MP3's....... when you burn a CD to Audio format you are lmited to 70 minutes, and the program while its burning it converts it to WAV format.... so its not an MP3 when its on the CD. If you just use MP3 on a data CD on a unit that doesn't suopport mp3 files... then that would not work.
