Posting for SLOWY

What size/hp compressor and tank would be the best for home use. i know nothing about compressors, so i need to know what the best size would be. i've heard that small tanks with low hp compressors wouldnt be enough power, but what would be the smallest size/hp i could use? Thanks in advance
