I guess they're right, it seems like you could get 500/1's in the 250-300 range.
*edit* darn it all... just pretend that the link up there worked, then go type "jl 500/1" in an ebay search field. 
i ebayed it, and found a bunch of +250 and auctions that are almost there and have days left.. the only buy it now i saw was for 400 bux
