I was thinking of putting some mods on my 95 pathfinder. Granted I am not a big fan of trucks pretending to be sports cars but being a 95 I just wanna get it up to the 240 HP of the current 2001 pathfinders. I gave up ideas of buying new in trades for the 928 Porsche. She is currently getting a new set of gaskets and belts to prepare for Mods later on. She will be on the road in March at which point I plan on taking the Pathfinder off for maintanance and upgrades.

I do this for a couple of reasons. First for the extra power in off road applications. Yes! I do take my SUV off roads even if it ain;t the great wilderness she sees some dirt and I have been almost caught short due to lack of enough power. Second I had an escort slowly walk away from me last night on the way home from work. Granted if you run the basic numbers of escort 130 hp/2468 lbs = 18.98lbs/hp to Pathfinder 168 hp/ 3675 lbs = 21.88lbs/hp So the numbers seem pretty much right. But if I am at 240 hp and 3675 lb = 15.31lbs/hp much better.

Anyone mod out their import suv?
