I know some of yall have been wondering what is required to get an itr exhaust on a 5g coupe or sedan well you need to add 4.5 inches between the cat and the b pipe. I dont have mine on yet but compared the 2 exhausts. When the piping makes the first 90 degree bend if you dont add the 4.5 inches it will bang against the undercarriage and on top of that youll have a hell of a time bolting the muffler and putting on the hangers. Currently Ive got a gutted cat. Since I dont like the idea of the air going into the cat and spreading and then going back into the exhaust outlet (not a smooth flow) Im just going to take the cat off and have a test pipe made 4.5 inches longer than the stock cat.
