12 seconds done correctly will always cost lots of $$$. Dyno time + tuning, fuel upgrades + i/h/e, turbo kit or nitrous (whichever you go with) and engine management.

if you're just going to throw shit together, that's your ass. but expect to spend even more $$$ down the line not just on parts, but downtime which is invaluable IMO. just my .02
